New:  Online meetings  – one before the trip to meet virtually and prepare the study trip, and one after to debrief. 1st of October + 26th of November 2026

For the second time, this annual study trip will be organized by Inspiration Reggio Emilia, a non-profit organization cretaed by l’écoline and partners, now member of Reggio Children International Network.

From Wednesday October 28, starting at 11am, to Friday October 30, finishing around 2pm

Visit of the Loris Malaguzzi International Center and Introductory session
Visit of Remida, the creative recycling center of Reggio Emilia
Visit of 1 creche (0-3 years) or 1 Preschool (3-6 yo) from Reggio Emilia
Presentations by Pedagogistas, Teachers & Atelieristas
Participation to 1 atelier with training by 1 Atelierista

Explore and deepen the fundamental themes of the Reggio Emilia approach with Reggio Children:

– The vision of the child
– The role of the educator as researcher
– The environment as a third educator
– Creativity and the “100 languages” of the child
– Listening to children
– Observation, interpretation and documentation
– The relationship with parents

Participation fees
The participation fee is 780 CHF/€ per person for the three days. Paiment online or invoice in demand, in swiss francs or euros.

They include :
– Online meetings before and after the trip
– Administrative and organisational costs
– Visits, seminars, practical workshops and exhibitions
– Remida visit
– Transport to/from a school/nursery and the International Centre
– 3 lunches on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at the International Centre’s restaurant
– Interpretation service from Italian into French for the Study Group
-In case of sanitary measures, the visits to external nurseries and schools will be replaced by an interactive atelier.

Not included: transport from your place of residence to Reggio Emilia, accommodation and meals other than those mentioned.

Information on transport and accommodation
We recommend the use of the train but can facilitate the organisation of carpools for transport from Switzerland to Reggio Emilia.
The Loris Malaguzzi International Centre can be reached on foot from the city centre of Reggio Emilia.
