The language of music, rhythm and sound
This atelier will tkae place in French!
Saturday January 22nd, 9am to 5pm (1 hour break for lunch)
A practical day to explore the ‘language’ of music, rhythm and sound for children aged 0-4 year old
Objectives for participants:
- Enjoy simple sound discoveries
- Refine their listening skills and their way of relating to others through music
- Develop their creativity
- To be able to think, create and animate moments of musical awakening with children (0 – 4 years)
Content in broad lines:
The day alternates between theory and practice, there is experimentation (voice, body, link with the other), learning of repertoire (songs, nursery rhymes, finger plays), a part dedicated to musical instruments: exploration, guide to choose instruments, musical dialogue. We will also talk about movement and we end with a practical workshop where the educators prepare small sessions of musical awakening.
The aim of this training is for participants to come away with concrete tools and experiences to enrich their musical language and to have the keys in hand to make music a part of their daily lives with children.
Each participant will have access to a written file, the audios of what we have experienced together and a certificate of participation.
The morning will be led by Flora Trivelli, educator and musician.
