Description

9 April 2022, 10h-11h30

In French, English upon request

This presentation will focus on the theme of the environment, meaning the different spaces offered to children. Explore the different areas at l’ecoline, and learn more about the key principles inspired by Reggio Emilia to provide an environment that equals the children’s potential. Elizabeth and Marion will adress the main elements (furniture and teaching materials) found in Reggio Emilia-inspired childcare and teaching facilities. Numerous pictures and videos will be used to illustrate the children’s interactions with their environment, considered as the “3rd educator” in this pedagogical approach.

Timing: Presentation + Discussion + Visit of our preschool and school spaces

The presentation and visit are led by Elizabeth Biondo, Head teacher and Pedagogista, and Marion Julia, Founder and Director at l’écoline.

This presentation is dedicated to educators, teachers or any person already familiar with the Reggio approach. If not already familiar, we have a Discovery Module that you can watch before joining this session.
