Reggio inspired workshop: the language of clay
This atelier will be given in French and/or English depending on the participants.
Saturday March 19 2022, 9.30-11.30 am
A practical morning to explore the “language” of clay and its many facets, to get hands-on and let your creativity run free.
As is often the case in the Reggio Emilia approach, the aim is to bring different perspectives to everyday objects or situations in nature and to invite us to use all our senses to enrich our perceptions.
This workshop allows early childhood professionals as well as parents to experience for themselves research contexts that will then be offered to children, in order to better accompany children’s discoveries and explorations and to expand all the possibilities offered by this language.
It is not a question of reaching a given objective at the outset through these explorations, but of opening up the field of possibilities, the imagination, the connections, the multiple understandings that will take place in the children and in us adults.
The morning will be led by Ana Luzia Cavaco, Preschool teacher and professional ceramist.
